Since forming First Industrial in 2009 (that merged with Panattoni Europe in 2017), Matthew has continued to build on his reputation for the delivery of major development projects throughout the UK. He has a creative & entrepreneurial approach to business with a wide range of commercial interests.
Fergie Taylor is responsible for the co-ordination and delivery of the Panattoni development platform. Over the last 25 years, he has gained an enviable reputation in the market, with an unparalleled track record for the delivery of large-scale industrial buildings and infrastructure. Fergie has procured an extensive range of new-build logistics space for a variety of blue-chip customers.
Oliver Bertram is lead Development Director at Panattoni, with responsibility for the national transactional platform. In the last 5 years, Oliver has executed over £400m of new build projects and is now recognised within the sector as a market specialist. Oliver is known for his personable approach to business and has earned a reputation for his commitment to customer service.
Tony Watkins is Development Director at Panattoni with responsibility for expanding the company’s land and speculative build platform. Tony specialises in the execution and delivery of major industrial schemes, with responsibility for deal origination and project implementation. Tony is highly accomplished in a variety of surveying sectors, with over 20 years of development expertise.
Simon Jenkins is highly experienced in the industrial real estate market, having concluded over 8 million sq. ft of transactions for some of the market’s leading retailers, manufacturers and third party logistics operators. Simon has executed a number of high profile industrial developments and has overseen the delivery of some of the UK’s largest build-to-suit projects.
Dan Burn leads Panattoni’s Northern office, based in Central Manchester. Dan is responsible for accelerating the company’s land purchase, build-to-suit and spec build programme, across both the North West and Yorkshire Regions. With over 18 year’s transactional experience, Dan is well recognised within the market, having been involved in many of the region’s pre-eminent industrial & logistics schemes. Since working in the sector, Dan has gained a reputation for his approachable, pragmatic and customer focused approach to business.
James Watson has over 11 years’ experience in the industrial property market and has a wide range of contacts within the sector. James’ role at Panattoni is to accelerate the national development programme for large-scale speculative and build-to-suit development, with a focus on the Greater London and southern M1 markets. James’ knowledge base and experience leaves him ideally placed to originate new transactions and oversee the leasing of existing projects within the business.
Andrew Preston has over 15 years’ experience in the industrial real estate market. Andrew’s role at Panattoni is to accelerate the UK land acquisition programme for speculative development and strengthen the national development team. Andrew has a broad breadth of experience in the commercial property sector with a detailed knowledge of the leasing and development process, having successfully delivered a range of build-to-suit projects.
Ian Anderson is a highly regarded and experienced technical delivery director, with responsibility for procuring Panattoni’s land acquisition, build-to-suit and speculative build programme. Ian combines his practical and commercial approach, with a keen eye for detail, ensuring that all projects are delivered to the highest standard. Ian has particular expertise in the negotiation and contract tender for large-scale industrial buildings, with a back ground in structural engineering.
Owen has just joined Panattoni and has a proven track record working with Jaguar Land Rover, both in the UK and internationally. He has been commissioned by them in numerous project delivery roles and has been involved hands-on in the delivery of c.2,000,000 sq ft of development for them over the past 7 years.
Peter Carter-Wall is in charge of the on-site delivery and quality control of all construction projects at Panattoni. Peter has over 20 year’s experience in the project management sector and now specialises in the delivery of large-scale industrial buildings, site infrastructure & remediation. Peter is highly regarded in the market, with a reputation for his meticulous and diligent approach to construction management.
Chris Gardner is Finance Director for Panattoni with overall responsibility for the financial management of the UK. Having worked with Matthew Byrom for over 17 years, Chris has successfully managed and presided over a period of unprecedented growth. Chris brings to the business a prudent and circumspect approach to company expansion, having now navigated his way through three recessions.
Nicholas Spencer is a Development Associate at Panattoni and supports the transactional and capital markets team. Nicholas has a background in real estate investment and holds responsibility at Panattoni for financially modelling prospective developments, along with providing investment services to a variety of institutional and global capital partners. Nicholas has a pro-active approach to business and has a key role in broadening Panattoni’s contact base.
